Climate changes, environmental impact, and finite natural resources urged scientists to research and find innovative sustainable technical solutions. Despite the negative impact of human activities on the environment, a rise in global concern for climate change has led to the development of sustainable technologies. The crucial aim is to help solve some of the most significant problems that we face as a society through a shift towards more sustainable and renewable energy sources, besides better management of the wastes. IntechOpen has recognized the need to raise awareness and enable scientists to share their latest research in renewable energy and environmental technology. That led to the launch of the new Open Science Green Energy and Environmental Technology Journal that will cover the latest advancements in these researches fields. I invite you to submit your research and check out the latest findings. Yours, Prof. Dr. Eduardo Jacob-Lopes Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil
GEET is led by the Editor in Chief, Eduardo Jacob-Lopes, and the editorial board is segmented into four specialised sections. Each section is steered by dedicated Section Editors, experienced in their field and aligned on scope and publishing standards

Open Access makes your work highly visible and discoverable. This will ensure your work receives the deserved attention and credit globally.
Your work will be immediately, freely and fully available all readers and authors without any APC barriers. You keep the copyright to your work, while we safely store it in various digital archives.
Peer review process
All manuscripts submitted to our journals undergo thorough peer review (independent of paper types). The peer review process is organised in such a way that all submitted papers undergo initial editorial office checks and scope and relevance checks by Section Editors or Editors in Chief (depending on the scope/nature of content) after which they are forwarded to Editorial Board Members for review coordination. They will collect at least two review reports per manuscript, request author revisions (peer-review again whenever necessary), before making the final decision on publication.
